There’s a store here in town called Knoxville Soap & Candle. They sell fun and unique things. In fact, I stopped by there today and found something for Mother’s Day for my mother-in-law. I ended up seeing her right after I bought it. That was unplanned, but since I was all excited about it, I went ahead and gave it to her. She loved it. It was this sweet little 3″ tall succulent candle.
Cute, right?
Saturday, May 3rd, the store is having its grand opening (they just moved to a new location!) and Mother’s Day Open House. To celebrate, the entire store is 20% off!
My First Book Signing
Knoxville Soap & Candle sells my book. At the open house event, I will be available to sign books should someone want one. I have no idea how this will go, because I have avoided book signings thus far. But I really like the store and store owner, so I am giving it a whirl in a show of support.
More Gift Ideas
I saw several other things there that caught my eye. Here are a few in case you are in need of gift ideas for Mother’s Day or the end of the school year.
Cake Candle
Mini Candle Chandelier
Candle Holder (I bet this is stunning when it is glowing from a candle).
Earrings.
Okay, so not a Mother’s Day or Teacher gift option, but I thought this baby dress was sweet.
Cute little owls.
Cute BIG owls.
Soap/Hand Sanitizer Dispenser
Jewelry.
That’s a wrap! (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.)
More colors.
Sweater Pillows.
Love this teapot lamp.
Soap!
Wine bottle lamps.
The store owner, Jodi, is incredibly sweet.
She’s put together a beautiful collection of gift options from more than 40 local artists and vendors.
