Ice Cream, Anyone?

Well, yet another thing I won at the fabulous Blissdom Conference in Nashville…a year’s supply of ice cream from Blue Bunny! Holy Canoli, did I ever hit the jackpot!

Okay, first they sent me this jumbo package full of ice cream.

(The angels were singing as I opened the box).

Here’s the loot, spread out  on my kitchen table. I think we might have to invite a bunch of kids over to help us eat it. (Or I could just eat it and then hire personal trainer).

So far, my kids have busted into the Mint Grasshopper Ice Cream Sandwiches, which they liked. I went straight for the Bunny Tracks. It’s quite good, I have to say. Chocolate covered peanuts, chocolate-covered peanut butter bunnies (say that five times fast), and fudge and caramel in vanilla ice cream.I think the caramel is my favorite part of this ice cream because somehow it seems melty. Mmmm. Tasty.

And you’re gonna have to wait to hear about the other kinds of ice-cream. I’ll tell you about them as I get to them. Unless we have a big ice cream party, in which case I will take a poll and report the results. Maybe I could take a page from my husband, who at work last week organized something he called The Great Doughnut Taste-Off.

Clearly, Blue Bunny, you could not have sent ice cream into a more receptive household! Think I better sign up for spin tomorrow to repent what I just ate.
