Giveaway: Hallmark Recordable Mommy & Me Book

As you know, I am really into the funny things kids say, I highly recommend you keep a quotes list, and I love me some Hallmark recordable story books.

When I was little, my Dad made some audio recordings of us on cassette tape. He kept the recording a secret so they were truly candid conversations. There’s one where he and I are talking about the Grease album cover and it is all kinds of funny. I was maybe five or so. I have no idea where the cassette is, not that I could even play it now, but I always loved that he did that because as an adult I was able to hear myself as a child. Great thinking, Dad! I’m assuming my kids will want to hear themselves later, too.

Recordable books seem like a really easy way to take an audio snapshot of my kids at this point in time, and that’s why I got them. I bought one for each of my kids and an extra to give away – just a little something from me to you.

To enter, tell someone who might like TheMommyhood.com about it (please and thank you) and let me know you did either on Facebook or in a comment below. That’s it. I don’t need their name or anything, we are on the honor system. (Oh, and I am sorry, but I have to limit this contest to the continental US to keep the shipping costs reasonable. Sorry to my non-U.S. peeps!)

Happy Mother’s Day, Friends.
I’m totally thankful for you.
