I do, from climbing under the tree to plug it in. And I know that’s not necessary, there are at least three better options:
- The best – in my opinion – a touch-light that turns on your Christams tree lights. It is a gold Chrismas-tree ornament that is connected to a sensor that turns your lights on when you touch it. It’s AWESOME! I have one of these, but can’t find part of it. I have been casually looking for a replacement in stores, but haven’t had much luck. Maybe I am just looking in the wrong places. Even the kids loved turning onthe tree with this thing.
- There is an extension cord that has a button that sits on the floor. You can just push the button with your foot.
- A basic power-strip could work as well.
While it rocks to have the touch light, it’s not a must, so if I don’t get around to buying one, I will continue to run around town with pine needles in my hair! What do you guys use?
We have a light switch that controls one of the outlets on the wall, so all we have to do is flip a switch.
Excellent idea, Krissy. Thanks for sharing!
