Got a great tip from a mom I was talking to at Girl Scouts the other day. She said instead of buying clothes and accessories directly from the American Girl Doll company, to buy doll clothes and accessories from Target’s line of 18″ dolls
Apparently, a friend of hers had a daughter who wanted an American Girl Doll Horse, but the mom didn’t want to invest in the official one since she didn’t know how much her daughter would even play with it. Searching for alternatives, she ended up finding a more reasonably-priced horse at Target which led her to the 18″ doll series. She told my friend and now I am telling you.
So that is one way to deck out an American Girl Doll for less. The 18″ doll series from Target — who knew?!
