Time Has Passed and I Didn’t Get It

Another thing to add to my ever-expanding new years resolution list is to take more video. Pictures are great, but when my kids are older, I don’t want to look back and be sorry the time passed and I didn’t get it.

I totally take for granted the cute things my kids do every day. I know they won’t always be doing them so I need to snap out of it and capture them before it is too late. It’s such an easy thing to do, I don’t know why I don’t do it more, but I am going to.

The other thing I need to do is organize my existing footage. OK – that’s a daunting project. Hmmm, maybe that’s a good 2011 project.  I know, I know. No time like the present. The longer I wait the harder it will be. Especially if I start taking a lot more video this year.

And the to do list list…is growing.  But then again, so are my kids.

One Response to Time Has Passed and I Didn’t Get It

I was kicking myself for the same thing. Up until this Christmas, I’m not sure my daughter (about to be 1) was in any videos. The problem is our bulky video camera is never right there when I need it and by the time it is out of its case, lens off and turned on, the moment has often passed. Luckily, my husband bought me a camera with video function for Christmas. Now I keep my camera in my purse and can snag a 60 second clip (which seems to be plenty of time) of my kids’ antics and cuteness whenever.
