Looking for a simple way to jazz up a plain t-shirt? Check this out.
Yesterday, my new friend Marta told me she likes to sew. “What kinds of things do you make?” I asked. She pointed at her son, Alexander, who was wearing this shirt.
How cute is this?!?!
Here’s how to make one:
1. Find an image you like online.
2. Use the image as a guide to cut out the shape you are planning to put on a shirt.
3. Attach the fabric to the T-shirt with fusable interface (iron on fabric).
4. Then use a sewing machine to stich around the edges of the shirt. This helps the image stay attached and also provides a nice finished look. But I wonder if you even have to. (Has anyone done this without the stiching? That would make this a no-sew project).
Well, very creative, Marta! Thanks for letting me share this with TheMommyhood.
cute! great idea!!
