A Book Recommendation About Raising Girls

My friend Amy Tate recommended the book Six Ways to Keep the “Little” in Your Girl by Dannah Gresh

She’s my kinda mom, so I trust her recommendation and will be picking this up. Here’s what she had to say about it:

“Moms- I very rarely recommend books, but this one was amazing. I’ve gone through several on this topic and this one really focuses on how to allow your daughter to be IN the world while giving her the confidence to not be OF the world. So worth your time!”

I for one, would love to read a book on this topic. Grateful Amy scouted out a good one.

Thanks for the recommendation, Amy!

Can’t wait to read this. My favorite book on this topic (up ’til now) has been “Stop Dressing Your 6-year-old Like a Skank: A Slightly Tarnished Southern Belle’s Words of Wisdom ” but “Six Ways to Keep the Little in Your Girl” sounds great. Thanks for the recommendation!

Thanks for telling me about that book, I will check it out. I am down with a stylish kid, but sexy clothes for little kids makes me nutty. Your kid can be stylish and not be skanky. I could go on, but I will stop myself.
