Cool App Suggestions from Julia (Goolia)

My niece Julia and I were recently talking about apps. Charlie (5) is all about learning some Spanish and she found an app she likes for languages. So, I asked her for her other favorite apps. I am just starting to try them now, so I don’t have any personal thoughts on these, but here are some she uses and recommends:

Find my iPhone/iPad, etc. – Use one smart device to find another.

(My kids don’t have phones, and I know that’s not the intended purpose,
but this could be awesome for tracking your kids’ whereabouts if they have phones!)

Paper (iPad) – Use your iPad as a sketch pad.

Urbanspoon - suggests restaurants in your proximity when you shake it – picks something at random.

Waze - Turn by turn navigation

Picstitch – Lets you make your photos look like a photo collage

Hipstamatic – Makes pictures you take with your phone look vintage

Mindsnack – Learning Languages
