If you are going out trick or treating with your kids and you usually leave a bowl of candy for kids, here’s another option: Turn off the porch light and put it in the mailbox!

    I always leave a bowl near the front of my home with glowing pumpkins and signs pointing to it. We hardly ever have any trick or treaters but for the 2 or 3 that come up here they can help themselves :) always had most of the candy left over for us to enjoy. We have done treat bags as well in the past. :)

      I love the signs idea! One year we didn’t put candy out and left our porch light on. Because sometimes we are dumb like that.
