Do you find you do the same dumb things over and over? I have two regularly occurring acts of unexplained stupidity.
#1 – Every night I take out my contacts with no idea where my glasses are located. My unaided eyes are pretty bad, so then I have to squint and feel my way to the usual spots to try to find them. If they aren’t in reaching distance, I skate my feet across the floor because I know from experience that a stray Lego in the arch of the foot will bring about a shitstorm of curse words that would embarrass even the reddest red neck — not to mention wake the kids. When I finally find my glasses I chastise myself for doing this — AGAIN.
#2 – I’m not sure what I can do about this one. I have this habit of not clearing the doorway. I catch the door jamb with the fat of my upper arm and it hurts like hell. All the time, people. No idea why it happens.
Maybe I need new glasses.
Surely I am not alone. Let’s laugh. What dumb things do you do?
I just laughed so hard at this (at work btw) that I cried a little.
It’s like you were explaining me on a daily basis. I’m pretty sure my daughter learned the “s” word as a result of these instances.
Thank you for making my day,
Brina
Thanks so much for your sweet comment. Glad I’m not the only one with a sting in my arm fat! And I’m stoked, that someone I don’t know has read my blog and likes it. My friends and family say they do, but what are they gonna say? So, thanks a bunch. Have a good one!
