Cleaning Products Giveaway

Um, it’s pretty hot in Knoxville – like stay inside hot. And, if you are going to be inside you might be compelled to deal with those dishes in the sink or catch up on a little laundry.  So, how about a few new products to try while you are at it?

I got these P&G items as swag when I attended GE’s Momsperience in Louisville a couple of weeks ago, and thought it would be fun to give the contents of the gift bag away to a reader!

Pay no attention to that half dead plant in the background.

The prize includes:

  • A Tide To Go Stick (I keep one in my purse.)
  • A Bounce Dryer Bar that sticks to the inside of your dryer and lasts about 4 months. It smells really good.
  • Cascade Complete (It says it requires no prewash.  I’m down with less work).
  • Tide Stain Release. This is a booster. You still use detergent, but adding this helps get rid of stains. The package says grass, ketchup, wine…we don’t need to get any farther down the list than that, Tide. You had us at ketchup.
  • And a coupon for free Tide HE Detergent (32 loads). I just put my bottle of detergent in the picture so you get the full effect of the prize. I use Tide Free & Gentle, or sometimes I use Tide Coldwater (and wash everything in cold). I like them both. And I run the extra rinse cycle on my washer. Do you guys do that, too?

To enter, you must do two simple things.

  1. Be a facebook fan of
  2. Leave a comment at the bottom of this blog post about cleaning. Anything you want to say. Spill it. Get it off your chest!

Contest ends Friday, June 10th at 12 pm midnight and the winner will be chosen via random number generator and announced Saturday, June 11th.

Contest limited to continental US residents only. Sincere apologies to my other peeps.

All right, you had me at FREE! :) My especially fun, get-it-clean moments, are trying to get the dried-on oatmeal off my bowls after they have sat in the sink all day while I’m at work; so, I wonder if Cascade can take care of that?! And, not to be forgotten, would be the wonderful popsicle/ice cream stains that also seem to dribble on the front of the girls’ super-cute and just washed clothes! Think a little Tide could kill those stains? :) Jennifer

I am horribly bereft when it comes to cleaning. I can do laundry with the best of them, but hate folding…I need cleaning help. LOL

    • Heather June 9, 2011 at 11:39 am #

I’m guilty of running the dryer over and over again to “iron” them before I fold them. But then I never do, so I just do that over and over again. Meanwhile, some poor load is souring in the washer…

Count me in! I have to admit I secretly love when my kids stain their clothes so I can use a stain remover. It really is a sickness. :)

Can you come over to my house?

Between the husband, the kids, and the pets, I don’t believe there is actually a bottom to the laundry hampers. The laundry and the kitchen – my two biggest cleaning banes.
    Thank you for this opportunity.

Laundry is a bottomless pit. Of dispair. I am now thinking of The Princess Bride. “The pit of dispair!” the albino whispers before clearing his throat and saying in a much deeper voice,
      “Don’t even try to escape.”

I feel like my life revolves around laundry sometimes. It just never seems to be over.

      I couldn’t agree more.

  9. I’m a fan on FB! (Of course.)

Considering my son, who is 5 1/2 told me that the house was a mess today and that we should clean it is very telling about my current cleaning habits!

    • Heather June 9, 2011 at 11:33 am #

My house is a mess, too. And I should be cleaning it, but instead I am on the computer. Well, so it goes.

Well, first of all, I like geting anything cheaper, free is even better! Well, most of my friends call me “Hazel”, so seems like a no-brainer to respond to this. I did tell my husband the other day that I felt like a glorified maid! Cleaning is like therapy to me! A clean house seems like an accomplishment since working out of the house is over for me(hopefully).

Cleaning something at my house is like painting a bulls eye on it. My kids use their powers of instant distruction. It’s losing battle for me.
