My kids and I recently met up with my daughter’s teacher from last year to see her and meet her new baby. And her baby had the coolest pacifier ever! It’s called a WubbaNub, and it is basically a stuffed-animal pacifier. According to the company’s web site, this product was invented by a mom who was sleepless because her baby couldn’t hold onto the pacifier.

I know, it’s hard to look at the WubbaNub when there is such a sweet puddin of a baby to be admired. Um, precious!

Here are the benefits/features of the WubbaNub:
- The stuffed animal attached to the pacifier actually helps the pacifier stay in the baby’s mouth. Although, at some point I would think this might make it easy for baby to unintentionally pull the pacifier out. But our friend has had a really good experience with the WubbaNub.
- It uses the Soothie pacifiers.
- The WubbaNub is easy for baby to hold. (Not to mention easy for mom to grab from the diaper bag or wherever else it might be).
- It’s also something baby can play with and love on.
- There are several different animals from which to choose.
- Lastly, the WubbaNub is dishwasher and washing machine safe. (I presume you need to sterilize the pacifier after putting it through a washer).
These range in price from $9-$26, so do your research to get the best deal! My kids are 4 and 6. Clearly, we are beyond pacifiers, but I am tucking this away as a great baby gift idea…

Good to know. I had never heard of them, but thought they were clever. Invented by a mom, of course! Moms know what they need and if they can’t find it, they make it. Hats off to this lady!
You are right, the WubbaNub Plush Toy Pacifier are great for kids use and the important thing is that they are loving them. These Pacifier are very cute as well as useful and safe for small kids.
