Time for a confession. I have a small addiction to buying water-related entertainment stuff for my kids. Show me an inflatable and I get all excited. (Wait, that doesn’t sound quite right. Well, you know what I mean.)
Anyway, my pal, Rachel, went to a birthday party where they had one of these wacky sprinklers and recommended it. So, I had to get one. Here is my latest acquisition (a bargain for $9.99 at Walgreen’s).
I love how the packaging makes the sprinkler looks twice the length it really is. It’s definitely shorter than it appears here, but it is still a really fun outdoor water toy. In fact, we are heading out to play now!
I too must confess to being a water toy junkie.
I got a big crazy flower this year and it’s been a hit so far. I’ve been eye balling your new aquisition at stores lately too, so the flower may have a buddy by the end of the weekend!
Enjoy and stay cool!
Jen
What’s the flower? I’m intrigued!
Here’s a another excellent water toy acquisition (although it’s not inflatable so not sure if it will have the same appeal to you, Heather:). The Dollar Tree sells 26″ Water Blaster Tubes. It’s like a giant syringe. You stick one side in a bucket of water and pull the plunger until the tube is full and then push the water out. My 3 year old has no problem spraying water as far as 5 – 6 feet away. What I like best is that it shoots water but isn’t shaped like a gun.
Love them. We break them a lot, though, so it’s good they are so inexpensive. My daughter likes to write her name on the driveway with them — and I like to shoot my kids with water. It’s fun and very theraputic!
