Recordable Storybook Giveaway

As you know, Hallmark sent me a recordable storybook as part of the Blissdom Conference SWAG. We love it. In fact, when I got sick after the conference and was confined to my bed, I could hear Charlie (who was really missing his mommy at that point) listening to the story down the hall. Pitiful. I missed him, too, but was glad he could still have a story from me even when I wasn’t able to read it.

And now you have a chance to get a free one, too! Whether you have small kids or not, I am sure there’s a munchkin in your life who would love to have one of these books. And as TheMommyhood reader Brooke pointed out, it’s a really cool idea to have grandparents record the story as a keepsake.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post telling me why you want one and who it’s for and I need your email address to contact you if you win. Every entry gets a number and I will use a random number generator to select the winner. The contest ends at midnight EST one week from today, Thursday February 24th. I will email the winner on Friday February the 25th and you have 48 hours to respond!

Note: I was not compenstated by Hallmark for this. I got a free book as a Blissdom Conference attendee and was offered a free book to give to one of my readers. This giveaway is only available to readers in the US. Soooo sorry if you are outside the US. I know I have some readers, especially the UK so a big SHOUT OUT to Jo and my other UK readers.

I would love to win this recordable book. My three children only have one great grandparent left on my side of the family. My grandfather’s heart is not well and he is almost 90. I think it would be such a treasure to have a book read in his voice, to keep as an heirloom for my children. Thanks for this giveaway opportunity and for your great blog-I really enjoy it!

I would love this for my great-nephew. He is like my grandson and we live 2000 miles apart. Would love to read it to him so he could hear my voice everyday.

I keep meaning to go and get one of these for my two girls, but I just haven’t been able to get there. I still can’t decide if I want it to be me and their daddy reading or the grandparents. Guess I’m going to have to get more than one :-)

I would love this for my little bookworm! Her Daddy is currently in Afghanistan and the occasional phone call always just tickles her pink.

Would love one for my two children. We are moving to a new city, uprooting them from the only place they know, so it would be nice to give them a special treat! Thanks!!!

I would love to have a story read by my Dad for my little girls. He was diagnosed in 2008 with Alzheimers at the very early ago of 64. I know that there will be a day when he will not know my girlies and the thought of having him recorded reading them a story would be a blessing.

I would like this book to record for my future Grandchildren. Nobody is promised tomorrow, so just in case I’m not here they will hear my voice.

I would love one to give to my grandparents (my daughter’s great-grandparents) so they can read it to Maddie Grace. They are getting older and can no longer travel. Always tough to travel to see them often and I definitely want Maddie Grace to hear her great grandparents ready to her.

I would love this for my son! I would ask my mom to record it, though, then give to my little boy since she is in New York and we are in Tennessee. ♥ Such a sweet gift!

This would be a wonderful gift for my daughter from her grandparents. We are getting ready to move 800 miles away from them. She will go from seeing them almost every day to seeing them every few months. A book of their voices reading to her would
be a treasured favorite. Thank you for the opportunity.

I would love to win a recordable story book. I probably read 5-10 books a day to my three year old when I am home, so it would be wonderful for her to have a book with my voice reading to her when I have to be away from her!!

I would love to win this book! It would be for my 18 month old son, Connor, and his new little sister, Caroline (May 6th). It would be great to be able to have daddy read this story, since he isn’t home with us during the daytime. Connor is always wanting his daddy to read to him :)

I would love this book for my son who is nine months and loves books. I think it would be great that he’ll still have Mommy able to read a book at bedtime, even if she has to work late (boo)! What a great idea too!

I heard your precious book you left for Melena and Charlie and decided I had to get one! Mary Carlisle needs this in her library! :) All our family lives out of town so we can definitely get good use out of it!

    We’ve been reading to Maxon since he was a few weeks old and, two years later, he is fanatical about books. I would love to record him reading a story with Daddy in his own expressive li’l voice so he can enjoy hearing it when he’s older. Perhaps one day he can share it with his own children :}
