Motherhood Moments: Forts and Pillows

We are in a major forts and pillows phase over here.

Raise your hand if you like forts!

This is kind of a minor one. They make really big ones, too. And then they beg and plead to leave them up for a while.

My kiddos are also really into pillows. This is the cubby in my daughter’s room.
The Princess and the Pea gathered almost every pillow in the house so she could climb up there and sit. They both climbed up there and had a ball.

Another favorite pastime is jumping into piles of pillows, which always makes me nervous. No cracked skulls yet (knock on wood). And it’s probably less dangerous than what we used to do – go down the stairs in our sleeping bags!

What are your kiddos into right now?

I just found this. What a great blog! And too funny….we so used to ride down the stairs in our sleeping bags all the time. Fun memories.

Hi Jennifer! I grew up with a Jennifer Davis – is it you? Not that there is only one Jennifer Davis in the world, but you never know! Anyway, thanks for your comment. Going down the stairs in a sleeping bag was a blast. It’s a wonder nobody got hurt and we never broke the bi-fold closet doors at the bottom of the stairs. It had to have hurt going down, but I only remember it as really really fun. Ah, goodtimes.
