How to Resolve Unwanted Charges on Your iTunes Account

So, let’s say your four-year-old who was playing on your iPad spent $94 on penguins…and you need to get that resolved. There are two things you can do:

#1 – File a request via “Express Lane” which can be found on the general iTunes support page or via iTunes on desktop.

#2 - Or, you can contact Apple Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775, and they will direct you the right person.

I chose the latter and am glad I did. I was able to resolve ALL of the unwanted charges easily. Although you guys had me worried after several of you mentioned on Facebook that you had a hard time.

I have this problem. My grand kids bought a subscription to a game and I didn’t know it until I tried to reload a game I had bought but put in the cloud and couldn’t. I got a message saying there was an issue with payment. They refunded half and I still owe the other half. I use a prepaid card for all internet game purchases and the charges went through even though there wasn’t money on it. I’m not sure how that happened. They have now froze my account and I can not access any of the games I’ve already paid for in my iCloud! I can’t even update anything either. It’s only $3.17 and would be easily paid for but that’s not the point. The charges were made by the kids who are 8 and 4 and yes they know how to do it. Their parents had to set restrictions as they did it on their iPads! I thought I had it fixed so they couldn’t ..haha kids now and days know more than us adults …well at least me!
