How to Make Mess-Free Flash Cards
Instead of using loose cards, buy an notebook of spiral bound index cards. You can get one at the grocery store for under $2. They are great to keep in the car - especially if you are heading out of town on a trip. It’s a mess-free way for your kids to practice their vocabulary or sight words.

Attached is a list of site words by grade that I found on a really comprehensive web site called K12reader that has a TON of educational resources for kids including spelling lists, worksheets and guides for parents and teachers. You should totally check them out.
