Instead of tossing a magazine when you are through, swap with your friends. My friends usually buy different magazines than I do, so it works well. We save money and always have plenty of reading material.
Also, check with your local library. My mother-in-law just told me she buys used (current) magazines at the library for a quarter.
And you can look at it as another way to recycle! Happy reading.
