I was talking to my eye doctor about, well, lots of things, because I am chatty, but during our conversation I mentioned Charlie’s love of sitting very close to the TV. The kid has had his eyes checked and they are fine, but Dr. Schwartz offered a great tip. He said a lot of times little kids don’t know where to move when you tell them to move back, so he said to tell him two body lengths and then show him how to lay on the floor and measure it out. Put it in terms they can understand and make it more like a game.
Good tip! Thanks Dr. Schwartz! (And a big shout out to Judy, who works with him).
Super handy! Thanks for sharing.
