Dear Molly, I too enjoy a slice of pizza while writing a sneaky plan…
“First, we go to mom’s closet. Then when mom comes upstairs, we will sneak into the bathroom.”
(P.S. – I appreciate the use of commas in your hide-from-mommy plan. And I also appreciate that you wrote down your plan, so you could properly direct Dad and Charlie. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree).
The other day, Charlie was helping me unload the dishwasher by putting away the silverware. I heard this indrawn breath when he came across a random fork in the pile. “It’s an enchanted fork, Mom!” he said it with such joy, it totally made me laugh. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the tines of the fork are actually quite mangled, which made it even funnier to me.
My kids are a fan of the bean bag. The first one was an accident. To get it down they turned on the fan. Clever, right? But then slinging them off became a pastime.
On the bright side, there is no need to dust the fan in the playroom.
Have any motherhood moments lately? Would love to hear about them!
Heather
Loved them all!
Thanks, Jennifer. We need to get together soon!
