Holy cow do I make my share of bad decisions as a mom, but every now and again I do something right.
I wrote a post around Valentine’s Day (The Card Is In the Mail – P.S. I Love You) about getting my kids little mailboxes and writing them notes so they get some “mail.”
By doing this I intended to have another way to communicate with my kids, and I intended to use it as a learning tool for my daughter who is learning to read and write. What I didn’t intend, but am happy about is that my daughter is paying it forward.
The other day she wrote her brother a note (on foot pad paper) and put it in his mailbox. It totally made my day.
