Vicks Trick for Coughing Kids

Heard this great tip from my pal, Lori. If your child is coughing at night, wait until they are asleep and put Vicks VapoRub on the bottoms of their feet and put socks on them. She swears by it. (She says it works on adults, too).

Here’s hoping it helps you and your child get some sleep!

Note: I’m sure this goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway. This is only for adults or kids - not babies. If you are unsure, don’t do it.

    I hear another one of Lori’s remedies is to rub KFC gravy on your temples to make a headache go away. Seriously though, the Vicks thing really works!

    I do the Vick’s on the feet at night for my coughing kids too!….but I don’t wait until they are asleep to do it….I just go ahead and put it on their feet after I put their PJ’s on…slip their socks on, tuck them in bed and voila! I definitely helps!!
